Terms of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Hobby Ledger isn't live yet. These terms cover the only thing the site does today — the waitlist signup form — and we'll expand them section by section as the catalog, accounts, and portfolio actually ship. We'd rather have short, honest pre-launch terms than pretend to govern features we haven't built.
Acceptance of Terms
Hobby Ledger is the trade name of Collector Technologies, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Hobby Ledger website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Eligibility
The service is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use the site (16 years old if you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, unless a parent or legal guardian has provided consent on your behalf). By submitting, you represent that you meet these age requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below the applicable age, and we will promptly delete any such data we discover, whether reported to us or detected through our own monitoring.
Description of Service
What the service is today: a pre-launch site where you can join the waitlist to be notified when Hobby Ledger launches, and send us a message through the contact form. That's it. As we ship the catalog, search, portfolio tracking, and billing, this section will expand to describe each — and the obligations that come with each. We don't bind you to features we haven't built.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the service
- Submit a form using an email you don't own (impersonation)
- Use the service to distribute spam or malicious payloads
- Circumvent rate limits or other access controls
As we ship more of the product, this list will expand to cover the new surfaces.
Intellectual Property
The Hobby Ledger name, logo, monogram, and website design are the intellectual property of Collector Technologies, LLC. There is no other content on the site today. As we ship the catalog and accounts, this section will expand to cover catalog data, card imagery (which belongs to its respective rights holders), and the obligations around user-submitted content.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. As we ship pricing data, grading guidance, and valuation tooling, each will carry its own explicit disclaimers (informational only, not financial advice, no guarantee of accuracy). Until those exist, there is nothing for this section to disclaim beyond the standard "as is."
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Collector Technologies, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Today the only "use" is submitting the waitlist form; future obligations will be added as each new surface ships.
Termination and Data Deletion
There are no user accounts yet, so there is nothing to "close" pre-launch in the conventional sense. The data we hold for you today is limited to what you submit through this site — your waitlist signup (if you joined the waitlist), and any contact-form messages you sent us. You can remove the waitlist record at any time using the unsubscribe link in any waitlist email. To remove a contact-form message, or to exercise the full set of data rights described in the Privacy Policy (access, correction, portability, deletion, and the narrow legal-retention exceptions that may apply), email privacy@hobbyledger.com.
We may also suspend or remove your access to the service — including by deleting a waitlist submission — if you violate the Acceptable Use section above, attempt to defraud or abuse the service, or if we are required to do so by law. When we take this kind of action, we will tell you what happened and why, unless a legal or security reason prevents us from doing so.
When user accounts ship, this section will be replaced with full self-service account deletion (one-click closure from your account settings), a data-export option, the deletion timeline (immediate soft-delete, hard-delete after a documented grace period), and the legal-retention exceptions that survive deletion. Until then, the waitlist deletion process described above is the complete termination flow.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms or the service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Colorado, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect when. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
